Blackberry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. fresh blackberries
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine berries, 1 cup water and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Combine 2 tablespoons water and cornstarch; mix well.
Stir into berry mixture.
Cook 1 minute over medium heat; add lemon juice.
Let cool.
Serve over angel food or sponge cake or over ice cream.
You can substitute any kind of berries for this sauce.
