Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
7 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 cakes compressed yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
Preparation
-
Add hot water, 1/2 cup sugar, shortening and salt.
Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/4 cup warm water.
Add to cool mixture 2 whole eggs, well beaten.
Add unsifted flour.
Mix well.
