Cooked Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. water
    8 oz. sugar
    3/4 c. Karo syrup
    3/4 c. egg whites
    vanilla or almond flavoring
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar and Karo in saucepan.
    Cook until it strings.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add syrup mixture while beating egg whites.
    Add flavoring.
    This is good for coconut cake frosting.
