Pecan Puffets * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. (fine) chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Sift flour and cream of tartar together.
    Add 1/4 cup at a time to creamed mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Shape into one large roll or two small ones. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake on ungreased baking sheets at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
