Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

4 large green peppers
1 lb. hamburger
2 Tbsp. chopped onions
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cooked rice
1 c. ketchup
3/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Cut slice from top of peppers and remove stems, seeds and membranes.
Rinse, then put peppers in a pot and add enough water to cover peppers, boiling for 5 minutes.
Drain.
Cook and stir hamburger and onions until brown; drain.
Stir in salt, rice and ketchup.
Stuff peppers with the mixture.
Stand in upright, ungreased baking dish.
Cover and cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes. Uncover, cook 15 minutes longer.
Sprinkle with cheese.
