Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. cream
    1 pt. milk
    1 oz. Jamaica rum
    1 to 2 c. whiskey to taste
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks.
    Beat whites.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar to yolks while beating.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar to whites after they have been beaten stiff.
    Mix egg whites with yolks; stir in cream (whipped if you wish).
    Add milk, whiskey and rum.
    Mix.
    Chill.
    Serve with nutmeg.
