Jack'S Cheese And Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round or lean beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked and rinsed
    1 large can tomato puree
    1 c. tomato juice
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute ground meat, onion, celery and pepper.
    In a separate pot cook puree and tomato juice.
    Remove ground meat mixture from frying pan with slotted spoon, leaving grease behind; add to tomato mixture.
    Cook together for 20 minutes.
    Add cooked elbows and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour into a baking dish.
    Cover top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
