Perfect Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter
1 c. broken pecan pieces
5 egg whites, well beaten
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add syrup, vanilla and pecans.
Stir well. Fold in egg whites. Pour into unbaked large pie shell; in Pyrex works well. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Test for doneness with toothpick in center; toothpick clean, pie done.
