Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 c. sugar
 
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. raw shelled peanuts
2 level tsp. soda
Preparation
- 
                            Mix sugar, syrup, peanuts and salt in heavy pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until peanuts have light parched color. Remove from heat; stir in soda gently but quickly. At once, pour on buttered cookie sheet. Spread and let cool. Break into pieces.
