Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-style green beans, drained
    2 cans peas, drained
    4 stalks celery, chopped fine
    1 large onion, chopped fine or chunked
    2 small jars pimentos, drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix all vegetables together. Mix the sugar, oil and vinegar. Pour over vegetables. Marinate 24 hours. Pour off liquid. This keeps in the refrigerator several days if covered.
