Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 whole eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    2 scant tsp. soda
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco well; add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, cocoa, soda and salt together 3 times.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla; add boiling water last.
    Bake in 9 x 13 1/2-inch greased and floured pan at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes; then at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes (or until done when tested with toothpick).
