German-Style Spinach - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat fat in large skillet.
    Add onion and cook until tender. Add flour.
    Cook and stir until mixture begins to thicken.
    Add water and mix until smooth.
    Add spinach.
    Cover and cook about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally as spinach thaws.
    Season with salt and pepper.
