Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. grated cheese
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 medium potatoes, scrubbed with vegetable brush
2 small onions
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grate cheese and set aside.
In 2-quart saucepan melt margarine over low heat.
Blend in flour.
Add milk all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Add grated cheese, season and continue to cook, stirring, until cheese melts.
Remove from heat.
Spread half of the cheese sauce on bottom of shallow 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
Slice potatoes and onions.
Arrange slices over cheese sauce.
Spread remaining sauce over top.
Bake until potatoes are tender, about 1 hour.
