Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. half and half or light cream
1/2 c. margarine or butter, cut up
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pastry shell or graham cracker shell (9-inch)
ground cinnamon
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan, then stir in the cream or half and half.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbling.
Remove from heat and stir in margarine or butter and vanilla.
Pour into the baked pastry shell and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes or until the edge is bubbly.
Cool completely on a wire rack. Serves 8 to 10.
