Mountain Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 can cherries, sweetened to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    In mixing bowl, mix together all except cherries.
    Pour on melted butter.
    Add cherries in center of batter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until batter is done.
    Batter will come to the top.
    Any fruit may be used instead of the cherries.
