Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
    1 egg
    1/4 stick butter, softened
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 C. chicken broth or enough to make a soft dough
Preparation
    Cut butter into flour until it looks like coarse cornmeal. Add egg. Mix well.
    Add rest of ingredients. Roll dough very thin and cut with pizza cutter into bite size pieces. Drop into hot chicken broth. Cook until they are tender.
