Outdoor Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

2 to 2 1/2 cans apple pie filling
1 tube refrigerator biscuits
whipped cream
Preparation

Mix apple pie filling with 2/3 cup water in large skillet with a tight cover.
When apples come to boiling, cut biscuits into quarters (use scissors).
Let pieces drop on bubbling apples. Sprinkle biscuits with cinnamon and sugar.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
No fair peeking, but biscuits will pop up like dumplings.
Serve at once with cream.
