Polvorones(Cinnamon Cakes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 oz. sugar
    1 c. lard
    2 eggs
    4 c. plain all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    sugar for sprinkling
    1 heaped tsp. powdered cinnamon
Preparation
    Cut the sugar into the lard; add the eggs and beat well.
    Sift the flour with the baking powder; mix well.
    Form into balls; flatten with the fingers
    and sprinkle with sugar and powdered cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes for cookies (3 to 4-inch diameter) or 15 minutes for smaller ones.
    The big ones are more traditional.
