Ham And Cheese Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cold water
3/4 c. very hot water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. diced, cooked ham
1 c. grated process American cheese
1/4 c. diced celery
1/4 c. diced sweet pickle
Preparation

Sprinkle 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatine on cold water to soften.
Add very hot water and stir until gelatine is thoroughly dissolved.
Add vinegar and salt.
Chill to unbeaten egg white consistency.
Fold in diced, cooked ham, grated process American cheese, diced celery and diced sweet pickle.
Turn into a 3-cup mold or individual molds.
Chill until firm.
Unmold on salad greens and serve with salad dressing.
Makes 4 servings.
