Apricot Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot Jell-O
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. hot water
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (juice and all)
    1 large can Mandarin orange slices, drained
    1 (1 pt.) container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Blend Jell-O, cream cheese, sugar and hot water in blender. Chill mixture until it begins to thicken.
    Add pineapple and orange sections; fold in whipped topping.
    Pour into mold or rectangular dish; chill until congealed.
    (Use a 9 x 13-inch dish or 2 smaller dishes.
    This recipe makes a lot!)
