Butter-And-Herb Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs
    4 1/2 to 5 c. all-purpose flour, divided
    Herb Butter (recipe follows)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
    Combine milk, sugar, shortening and salt in a saucepan. Place over low heat, stirring until shortening melts.
    Cool to 105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0.
    Stir into yeast mixture.
    Add eggs and 1 cup flour, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
    Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
