Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 7 green onions, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 (14 oz.) bottle hot catsup
    14 oz. water
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. liquid smoke
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute green onions and onion in margarine in large saucepan until limp and tender.
    Add catsup, water, chili powder, sugar, liquid smoke, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, parsley flakes, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Simmer for 30 minutes or until mixture thickens.
    Yields 7 1/2 cups.
