Mom'S Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round (or ?)
    1 medium onion
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed diced tomatoes
    1 (14 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (2.2 oz.) can sliced olives, drained
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. oregano
    4 c. water
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt (?)
Preparation
    Brown beef in large skillet and drain.
    Add onion and cook until tender.
    Add other ingredients except water, cornmeal and salt.
    Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes; set aside.
