Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cut shortening into flour; add beaten egg.
Add salt and milk.
Dough should be sticky.
Pinch off a bit and knead with flour; roll out, cut into pieces and drop into boiling broth.
Do not stir.
Punch dumplings into broth with spoon.
