Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
2 c. cold water
6 Tbsp. Karo syrup
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 pie crusts
2 c. strawberries
1 small box strawberry jello

Preparation

In saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, water, Karo and vanilla.
Bring to boil and cook until thick and clear.
Remove from stove.
Add jello.
Arrange strawberries for each pie and pour hot mixture over top.
Chill and top with whipped cream. Makes 2 pies.
