Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 pork chops (better if deboned)
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can beef consomme
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 stick margarine or butter
    1 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Note:
    If you like, you can use onion soup instead of mushroom and you can add 1 (6 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced and 1/2 cup of chopped parsley.
