Frosty Strawberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 c. sliced strawberries
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipped cream

Preparation

Stir together first 4 ingredients.
Spread in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Sprinkle 2/3 of crumbs in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Combine egg whites until stiff and add sugar, berries and lemon juice in large bowl; beat to stiff peaks. Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon over crumbs.
Top with remaining crumbs.
Freeze 6 hours.
Cut in 10 to 12 squares.
