Helen'S Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked 8-inch pie shell
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    grated rind and juice of 1 1/2 lemons
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 eggs, separated
    3 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt. Add lemon rind and juice, water and egg yolks.
    Cook until thick in double boiler and pour into baked pie shell.
    Beat egg whites gradually adding 3 teaspoons sugar and beat until stiff.
    Spread on pie. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes to brown.
