Hearty Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. hot mashed potatoes
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can Durkee French fried onions
    1 1/2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground mustard
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix potatoes, half of cheese and 1/2 of onion.
    Spoon into greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Spread across bottom and up sides to form a shell.
    In a bowl, combine chicken, vegetables, soup, milk and seasonings.
    Pour into potato shell and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
    Top with remaining cheese and onion; bake until golden brown.
