Little Granny'S Homemade Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot milk
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 eggs, beaten
    7 to 8 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 stick melted butter
Preparation
    Combine milk, boiling water, sugar, salt and shortening.
    Stir until shortening is melted; cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to milk mixture with eggs, mixing well.
    Add 4 cups flour and beat well.
    Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about 1 to 2 hours.
