Dinette Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat all ingredients in large mixer bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds.
Beat on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 3 minutes.
Pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Bake for about 45 minutes or until when toothpick is inserted it comes out clean.
