Ham And Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    6 medium potatoes (about 2 lb.), thinly sliced (about 4 c.)
    1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1/4 c.)
    1 1/2 c. cubed fully cooked smoked ham
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
Preparation
    Heat 3 tablespoons margarine in 1 1/2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
    Stir in milk.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Stir in parsley.
