Coconut Cream Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shredded coconut
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan; set aside.
    Put sugar and milk in pan; heat slowly stirring until sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Boil 12 to 15 minutes; remove from heat.
    Add coconut and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
    Pour into buttered pan; let cool.
    Cut in pieces.
