Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sweet or sour milk
    4 c. flour (more as needed)
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs and milk.
    Sift dry ingredients and add gradually to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla. Chill.
    Roll thin.
    Cut with cookie cutters.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Decorate as desired.
    This recipe may be used in a cookie press, add 1/4 cup or more flour as needed.
