Mary'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine milk, water and sugar in 3-quart saucepan.
    Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
    Boil for about 20 minutes or until a small amount forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat.
    Add butter, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Beat all together and continue beating by hand until fudge starts to thicken.
    Pour into lightly greased pan.
    Cool and cut into squares.
