Chicken Cordon Bleu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. skinless chicken breasts
    2 cans Campbell's cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 medium onion
    1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
    1/2 lb. imported or domestic ham
    cooking oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Pound each chicken breast flat; salt and pepper.
    Place 1 slice cheese and ham on chicken breast and roll up; secure with toothpick.
    Add oil to bottom of frypan; slowly brown the chicken pieces on all sides.
    Remove from pan; drain oil from pan.
    Pour cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup milk into the pan; stir on medium heat until sauce loosens.
    Add finely chopped onion; simmer 10 minutes.
    Add chicken breasts to sauce; spoon sauce over chicken.
    Heat/simmer 15 minutes or until tender.
    Makes 4 generous servings.
