Squirrel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 young squirrels (if old, boil until tender)
4 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. flour
more salt and pepper (if desired)
Preparation

Heat shortening in frying pan.
Roll squirrel in flour.
Place in pan.
Sprinkle on salt and pepper.
Cook on medium heat, turning as needed until real tender and brown.
Remove from pan. Serve or can make gravy in grease.
