Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 to 2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. melted margarine
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Blend in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in water; let set 5 minutes.
Add buttermilk.
Add yeast and buttermilk to flour mixture.
Mix well.
Turn out on slightly floured board; roll or pat to desired thickness and cut into biscuits.
Dip tops in melted margarine and place on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
