Golden Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cooking salad oil
    7 unbeaten egg yolks
    3/4 c. cold water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon or orange rind
    1 c. egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Combine cake flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and mix in bowl, then add salad oil, egg yolks, cold water, vanilla and lemon or orange rind.
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar very stiff; do not underbeat.
    Fold into other mixture.
    Pour immediately into ungreased tube pan (10 x 4-inch).
    Bake 60 to 65 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
    Let stand for 1 hour, then remove.
