Chicken Gumbo Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. chicken broth
    6 c. chopped onion
    4 c. chopped celery with tops
    16 oz. frozen speckled butter beans
    1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. rice
    1 1/2 c. tomato or V-8 juice
    1 1/2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes, cut into pieces
    3 c. fresh or frozen sliced okra
Preparation
    Simmer chicken broth, onion, celery, beans, bouillon and pepper for 2 to 3 hours.
    Add rice and additional water, tomato juice or V-8 juice as needed to prevent sticking.
    Cook about 20 to 30 minutes.
    Stir occasionally; add chicken, tomatoes and okra and heat thoroughly, 15 to 20 minutes.
