Autumn Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. diced Red Delicious apples
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. whipped topping
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Put pineapple, it's juice and sugar in saucepan.
    Bring to boil and cook 3 minutes.
    Stir in gelatin and cream cheese; cool. Fold in nuts, celery, apples, and whipped topping.
    Pour into 9 inch square dish.
    Chill until set.
