Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 (1 lb.) bag cranberries
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Boil the water and sugar for 5 minutes.
    Add the cranberries; cook 5 minutes or until the cranberries pop.
    Dissolve the jello in 1/2 cup boiling water; add to the mixture.
    Add mixture.
    Add 1 cup pecans.
