Bean 'N Beef Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 (10 3/4 or 11 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix meat, half of the onions, the bread crumbs, 1/4 cup of soup, the egg, thyme leaves, salt and pepper. Press mixture evenly against the sides and bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.
    Turn beans into meat-lined pan; spread remaining soup over beans and bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
    Arrange remaining onions on top; bake 10 minutes longer.
    Cool 5 minutes, then cut into wedges.
