Ingredients

1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation

Soften ice cream in a large bowl.
Don't let it get soupy, just to stirring consistency. Crush cookies with rolling pin and add to ice cream. Add Cool Whip and pecans. Stir to mix completely.
Put in a tube pan.
Freeze. Remove from pan and store in freezer.
