Coke And Ketchup Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 lb. roast
garlic powder
salt
pepper
1 Tbsp. oil
1/4 c. flour
1 large onion, sliced
1 large bell pepper, sliced
1 can Coke
1 small bottle ketchup

Preparation

Sprinkle roast with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Roll in flour until covered all over.
Heat oil in roasting pan or cast-iron Dutch oven.
Place roast in heated pan and brown on both sides.
Remove roast and remaining oil from pan.
Place roast back in pan.
Pour ketchup and Coke over roast.
Place onion rings and bell pepper rings around and on top of roast.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
