Company Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pineapple juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
grated sharp cheese
3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
3 bananas, cubed
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; cool.
When beginning to set, add pineapple, marshmallows and bananas.
Chill in large glass bowl until firm.
Heat pineapple juice in top of double boiler. Combine sugar, flour and egg.
Mix with pineapple juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Cool and fold in whipped cream. Spread over gelatin.
Top with grated cheese.
Chill until firm or overnight.
