Tipsy Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. butter
3 Tbsp. bourbon
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
6 medium sweet potatoes, boiled, peeled and sliced
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually add water to make a smooth paste. Add butter, bourbon, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened and smooth. Arrange potatoes in pan. Cover with sauce.
Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Serve at once.
