Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco (white)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. enriched flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add salt and soda to buttermilk.
    Add sifted flour and buttermilk mixture alternately to sugar and egg mixture.
    Pour into tube pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    (Tube pan must be greased and floured before preparation.)
