Grostali - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    5 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. rum or any liquor
    1 lemon or orange peel, grated
    2 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar, butter, vanilla, rum and lemon or orange.
    Add 2 cups flour and baking powder and mix well, adding more flour until ingredients hold together.
    Roll out to very thin layer.
    Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
    Knot lightly and fry in deep hot fat.
    Drain on paper toweling.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool.
