Bourbon Street Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. bourbon
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    powdered sugar
    pecan halves
Preparation
    Beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Stir in bourbon and melted chocolate.
    In another bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
    Stir the dry mixture into the butter mixture.
    Combine evenly.
    Pour into a buttered 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with pecan halves.
